Clammy is a little clam who lives in the sea and Hay Hager is the lighthouse that protects the sea. They met one night when the stars came out and Clammy was alone on the shore Clammy looked up at the stars so bright and wished he had a friend to play with. Hay Hager looked down on the shore and saw Clammy, alone in the dark. He hollered, “Who are you?” A startled Clammy looked up to the lighthouseand said, “my name is Clammy and I’m trying to find a friend.” Hay Hager spoke more softly and said, "I will be your friend." And that is how Hay Hager and Clammy’s best friendship started!
